The biennial Aquila Polonica Article Prize is awarded under the auspices of the Polish Studies Association, which appoints an independent committee of judges, to the author of the best article written in English during the previous two years on any aspect of Polish studies.

The award carries a $500 honorarium donated by Aquila Polonica Publishing, and is announced during the Polish Studies Association annual meeting at the National Convention of the Association for Slavic, East European and Eurasian Studies (ASEEES).

The award was first presented in 2011 and in the following odd-numbered years: 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, 2021 and 2023.
